HVGCC's First Hudson Valley Gateway Experience
The Hudson Valley Gateway Experience brought hundreds of community members to the The Mansion on the Hill at the Colonial Terrace to learn more about local vendors and their services on March 19.
The Hudson Valley Gateway Experience brought nearly 1000 local residents to The Mansion on the Hill at the Colonial Terrace to peruse 91 different vendros' tables, which offered everything from free beer to hand-painted clothing.
From 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. restaurants, bars, bakeries, flower shops and many other types of businesses from Putnam and Westchester counties, including many from Peekskill, Cortlandt, Yorktown, Carmel, Garrison and other surrounding communities, provided samples, advice and information on their services to visitors.
The event was the first of its kind organized by Executive Director of the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce Deb Milone and her staff.

"We judged the success by what vendors said, and they all said that they were happy with the outcome" said Marissa Cunningham, HVGCC Administrative Coordinator. "They all said they handed out a lot of flyers, added people to their email lists and made so many contacts...everyone said they thought it was worth their while."
