PEEKSKILL, NY โ Hanes Brands Inc has donated hundreds of masks to local communities in Westchester County. On Wednesday, County Executive Latimer was joined by local officials from Ossining and Peekskill as he delivered the Hanes masks to local municipalities.
In Ossining, Latimer was joined by Village Mayor Victoria Gearity, Town Supervisor Dana Levenberg and County Legislator Catherine Borgia. In Peekskill, Latimer and Borgia were joined by County Legislator Colin Smith and Peekskill Deputy Mayor Vivian McKenzie.
"This generous donation is being used to make us all a little bit safer," Latimer said. "These deliveries are just one part of our strategy to reduce the spread here in Westchester. The masks were made possible by Hanes Brands Inc. and the work of the State of New York. All communities in Westchester will benefit from these donations. We are happy to be here to deliver in person and show the County is trying to be a good partner to our Towns, Villages and Cities.โ
