Grant to Hendrick Hudson Library

That money will help the puppet theater.

CORTLANDT, NY β€” During a recent visit to the Hendrick Hudson Free Library in Montrose, Senator Terrence Murphy announced he had secured a $5,000 grant to help the library expand their Children's Room and refurbish their puppet theater.

"More than ever, libraries are important places to explore, interact, and let your imagination run free," said Murphy. "I am happy to provide the funds to help engage the fertile minds of individuals and families who appreciate the value of the Hendrick Hudson Library."

The Hendrick Hudson Library offers a wide-range of programming for children, teens and adults, including guest speakers, book discussion groups, craft programs, storytelling, tie-dyeing and puppet plays.
