New List Ranks Best Middle Schools in New York

Niche.com has released its 2016 rankings of public middle schools across the country, and the region's schools took up about a third of the slots in the Top 100 list for New York.

Last year, 33 lower- and mid-Hudson Valley schools made the list in Niche's 2015 rankings.

A high ranking, according to Niche, indicates that a school “is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students and faculty, and the students are very happy with their experiences.”
