Becker said he was excited to announce the beginning of night court in the town's Justice Court and applauded Fugaro-Norton and Town Justice Kimberly Ragazzo for working to make it come to fruition.
"This change will allow our residents and other individuals the ability to attend to court business during the evening," he said.
The justices said night court benefits those who cannot take time off from work without risking loss of income or repercussions from employers, those who attend mental health or substance abuse treatment during the day and those who care for children during the day.
