Panas Chamber Choir Wins Gold At NYSSMA Festival

Groups that perform at the NYSSMA Major Festival choose repertoire that is categorized in levels that become more difficult each level.

From Lakeland Schools:Congratulations to the Walter Panas High School Chamber Choir for receiving a Gold rating for the second year-in-a-row at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Major Festival.

Groups that perform at the NYSSMA Major Festival choose repertoire that is categorized in Levels 1 through 6, and each level higher increases in challenge and difficulty. "For the second year-in-a-row, the WPHS Chamber Choir performed at a Level 6 and received a Gold rating," said Choir Director Jamie Stroffolino. The choir performed on May 22, 2018 at Minisink Valley High School.

Elijah Rock by Moses Hogan
