Peekskill School District to Hold Information Session on Proposed Charter School

A charter school would cause PCSD to loose $9.5 million in funding over 5 years, with cuts to programs and large tax increases for residents

Today’s meeting will be followed by a Public Hearing on October 1, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Peekskill Middle School. This hearing is being held for the purpose of soliciting comments from the community in connection with a proposal and an application to establish a charter school to be named “the Guardian Academy Charter School of Peekskill,” located in the City School District of Peekskill, NY.
