Reward Offered Over Knifepoint Robbery In Buchanan

Police are still investigating the Feb. 4 midmorning attack.

BUCHANAN, NY — New York State Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the robbery Feb. 4 in Buchanan.

The mid-morning robbery at the intersection of Bleakley Avenue and Broadway led to a temporary lockout at several Hendrick Hudson schools.

Police at the time said victims described a dark-skinned man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, with a white and red face mask, who held them at knifepoint in a small business office on Bleakley Avenue near Broadway.
