100 Best Private High Schools in New York

Patch recently reported on public schools rankings in the country and Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties, and we even told you about schools ”beating the odds.” But what about private schools?

See how New York’s private schools stack up in this Top 100 Private High Schools list, as ranked by Niche.com.

Nationally, 3,880 high schools were reviewed based on key student statistics and data sourced from various government and public data sets, Niche’s proprietary data, and 123,218 opinion-based survey responses across a variety of topics from 16,688 current students, recent alumni and parents.

Overall, the Hudson Valley had five of the top 25 private high schools, and 20 of the top 100.
