Here is what you need to know in Pelham for Wednesday, July 30, 2013.

1. Pelham children can come to the Pelham Public Library at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday for the first of two sessions in which they will make a gnome/fairy house. It's a free activity and will conclude at the same time Wednesday. The library is located at 530 Colonial Ave.

2. Registration continues for the Field Hockey Clinic that starts August 5. The clinic is for grades five through eight. You need to register at the Recreation Department offices, 20 Fifth Ave. Pelham residency is required.

3. Tuesday's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service, calls for sunny skies with a high near 81. Winds will be out of the northwest 5 to 8 mph. It will be mostly clear Tuesday night with a low around 65.

4. Garbage collection in the Village of Pelham for Tuesday is Area B: Pelham Height and Pelhamwood.

5. Movies being shown Tuesday at The Picture House in Pelham are Now You See Me, with Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson (2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.), and Stories We Tell, Sarah Polley's documentary about a family secret (2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.).
