There is now an additional traffic lane on Weyman Avenue in New Rochelle.
The new lane, from Main Street to Nardozzi Place, was built to accommodate additional traffic because of the elimination of the curved connector roadway that split two lots where a diner is being built.
DeRaffele Manufacturing purchased the two lots between Main Street and Nardozzi Place off Weyman Avenue for $600,000 from the City of New Rochelle. The City Council abandoned the curved roadway connecting Main Street and Nardozzi Place and sold it to DeRaffele.
