Pelham Among Best School Districts In New Rankings

PELHAM, NY — Data compiler Niche released its new list, 2019 Best School Districts In America, last week. Pelham was high on the list.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)

Each district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

Pelham received an overall grade of A+. In fact, it received all A+es except for an A for Clubs and a B for Diversity.

It was ranked No. 27 in New York and No. 136 out of almost 11,000 school districts in America.
