Robert Silverman, a pianist,
trumpeter, and composer, is a fixture in the New York jazz scene. After stints
in Europe, and gigs with Albert King, Jimmy Heath, George Russell and others,
he formed his own quartet. He's the winner of numerous awards including the
2013 Bronx Council on the Arts Brio Award. His new CD "Song of
Thanks" draws on a wide variety of musical influences.
