Here are some things you need to know around Pelham for Thursday, July 25, 2013.

Family Film Frenzy at Glen Island Park
Family Film Frenzy: Finding Nemo Pool Party. This after-hours event is sponsored by Westchester County and takes place at Glen Island Beach in New Rochelle from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Take a blanket and take a picnic or buy some food at the concession stand. Admission for the movie only is $5 for ages 5 and up.
Funk That Band
If you love Motown, R&B, soul and funk, then head to Library Green in New Rochelle to hear Funk That Band from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The band is led by drummer Brent Williams. The free concert is part of the BID Music on the Green series. Library Green is located at the intersection of Lawton and Huguenot streets in New Rochelle.
Weather Forecast
The National Weather Service said Pelham's Thursday forecast will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. The high will be near 79.
