Registration for Pelham Recreation Continues
You can register your child in golf workshops (kindergarten through grade five) and girls soccer (ages 6 to 15) at the Town House, 20 5th Ave. in Pelham. The programs begin July 29. For more information, call 914-738-0153.

Summer Sounds Concert Series

New Rochelle native Caroline Doctorow and her folk-rock band The Steamrollers perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hudson Park in New Rochelle. The concert is part of the New Rochelle Council on the Arts Summer Sounds Concert Series, and it's free.  

A Clash of Cultures: Anne Hutchinson's Brief Life near St. Paul's Church
A talk and discussion about the interface between the local Lenape Indians, the Dutch commerical colony of New Netherland and the bold Puritan rebel Anne Hutchinson, near St. Paul's Church in the early 1640s will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the historic St. Paul's Church, 897 S. Columbus Av., Mt. Vernon.
