Star Trek, Charlie Brown and Farmers Markets
Here are some activities for the weekend convenient to Pelham.

Farmers Market and Grand MarketFresh produce and other goodies are available from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Down to Earth Farmers Market in New Rochelle (North Avenue in front of the high school) and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Rochelle Grand Market on Library Green, Lawton and Huguenot streets.
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown
CNR Drama at The College of New Rochelle will present You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz, Saturday and Sunday, July 27-28 on the main campus of The College of New Rochelle. The performances will be at 2 p.m. each day in the Romita Auditorium, 29 Castle Pl. Ticket price is $10 general admission. There will also be performances August 3-4.
Star Trek: Into Darkness
Interested in seeing Star Trek: Into Darkness on the big screen? Like the really, really big screen? Well, there's one just up the highway in Norwalk at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk. Showtimes include Fridays and Saturdays at 6 and 9 p.m., and Sundays at 6 p.m., through Aug. 31.
Jewish Cultural Heritage Festival
Westchester County's annual Jewish Cultural Heritage Festival runs from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla.
Extreme Hula Hooping
At the Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains, you can take a lesson in Extreme Hooping at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Hula hoops will be provided. All you have to do is register in the pool office when you arrive. Winners will win their own weighted hula hoop. For more information, call 914-995-4480.
