Hicksville High School Graduate and Young Adult Author Announces Spring Publication of First Book

Author Melissa Kuch, an ’01 graduate of Hicksville High School, has just released her first episode in The Hypothesis of Giants four-part series. The Assumption, the debut novel of the series, is an imaginative young adult book that will transport readers to a fantastical world where giants exist. The Assumption is now available on amazon.com. “I wanted to make something new for teens, something that was different, something other than vampires,” said Kuch who’s always had a passion for writing. “The young adult genre has always been a favorite of mine. I grew up reading Carolyn Keen, C. S. Lewis and R. L. Stein.
