Arrest in Drag-Race Injury of Mt Pleasant Cops
A Bronx man has been charged, The Journal News reports.

Mount Pleasant police investigating a large drag-racing gathering at the west end of Route 117 in November were injured by a driver they tried to question.
Sgt. Michael McGuinn and Officer Luke Oliveri were hit when the driver restarted his car, shifted into reverse and floored it, The Journal News reported at the time.
Now a Bronx man has been arrested in connection with the incident, Chief Paul Oliva told lohud.com. Nathan H. Irizarry, 38, faces two felony counts of aggravated assault on a police officer.
