BHS Alum Recognized
Class of 2008 graduate Garth Muratori was one of nine members of the Hobart College football team to be recognized at the annual Block H Dinner on April 23.

Senior Muratori, according to a press release from the school, received the Bill Middleton Memorial Football award for the second consecutive year as the "team's most valuable offensive performer."

Muratori earned second team All-Liberty League honors, leading the team in receiving touchdowns (7) and receiving yards (537) and ranking second in total touchdowns (7). He enjoyed his best game of the season at St. John Fisher, making eight catches for 145 yards, and three TDs. Muratori is one of only 10 Statesmen to record 100 career receptions. In 37 career games, he had 112 receptions for 1,676 yards and 17 touchdowns. He ranks fifth in career TDs, sixth in career receiving yards, and seventh in receptions.
Little League Tournaments
The below was taken from the Briarcliff Little League website:
5/25 - 5/28 - Memorial Day Tournaments - Select teams will represent Briarcliff at the 8U-12U levels. Teams are selected through a nomination process that involves discussion between in-house coaches, division commissioners, board members and tournament team coaching staffs.
Memorial Day Tournament coaches will contact the selected players this weekend following in-house games (5/12-5/13). 8U, 9U & 10U teams will travel to New Castle and Briarcliff Little League will host the 11U & 12U brackets at McCrum Fields and Ryder Park. A tournament schedule will be made available to everyone and we encourage the entire community to support our tournament teams.
