Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Alleged Co-Worker Larceny; Suspended License Arrest

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the from November 7 — November 13, 2011.
Sunday, Nov. 13
12:01 a.m. — A patrol officer reported locating a 17-year-old youth wanted in domestic investigation being handled by the Mount Pleasant Police Department. The teenager was taken into custody by police and picked up by her mother.

Saturday, Nov. 12
5:07 p.m. — A Holbrook Road resident reported when her son went to check the family's mailbox, he found clothing inside. The incident is under investigation.

Friday, Nov. 11
8:27 p.m. — A two-car accident was reported in the northbound lanes of Route 9A. One driver complained of neck pain, but was not taken to the hospital. A report was filed.
11:50 a.m. — Police are investigating an alleged larceny occurring at on South Highland Avenue. A caller reported she believes her co-worker stole her cell phone at the school. Police reported surveillance footage showed the complainant placing her cell phone, on a clipboard, on top of a refrigerator. The suspect is alleged to have blocked the phone from camera view and taken it. The detective is investigating the matter.
Tuesday, Nov. 8
10:17 p.m. — A caller reported loud noise coming from an Orchard Road apartment. Responding officers said no one appeared to be home at the apartment.
4:36 p.m. — While on patrol, a police officer received an alert for a car with a suspended registration on Route 9. The driver, a 42-year-old Ossining woman, was also found to have a suspended license and was arrested and brought to headquarters for processing.
Monday, Nov. 7
10:21 p.m. — A party called police and reported there was an ongoing verbal altercation between two people in a vehicle at the Scarborough Metro North station. The responding officer reported the dispute, between a girlfriend and a boyfriend, was verbal only and sent the pair on their way.
9:05 a.m. — A mailbox on Butternut Road was reported damaged. Police filed a report of the criminal mischief.
