Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Man Arrested on 1996 Warrant; Golf Balls Hit Cars

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the from September 26 — October 2, 2011:
Sunday, Oct. 2
8:26 p.m. — Police responded to the scene of a rear-end car accident on Route 9A, involving a Mazda and Mercury. An EMS was called to the scene, but both parties involved refused medical attention.

3:01 p.m. — Police were notified the tail light of a car was hit by a golf ball in the vicinity of Elm Road, near . Police notified Trump security of the incident.
Saturday, Oct. 1

8:21 p.m. — Police received a call from reporting a member had seen a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot in the morning. The vehicle was allegedly in "an odd position," with one male inside, who drove off when confronted. The caller requested police check the area.
11:44 a.m. — A student notified police her car had been damaged while parked behind a dormitory. The responding officer said the student reported her boyfriend admitted to scratching the driver's side of her car between 3:30 and 4:30 a.m. Security was advised not to let the boyfriend on campus and the student said she would allow the suspect time to pay for the damage.
Friday, Sept. 30
4:58 a.m. — Peekskill police reported A 39-year-old Peekskill man who had an outstanding warrant from 1996 in Briarcliff Manor had been detained. Briarcliff Manor Police transported the man to headquarters for processing. He is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The man was released on cash bail.
Thursday, Sept. 29
10:45 p.m. — Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route 9A involving a Lincoln town car and Toyota Camry. One party who was experiencing back pain was taken to Westchester Medical Center.
5:17 p.m. — A resident reported he had received a call from Chase advising him there was suspicious activity on his checking account. The case was referred to the detective and bank security.
Wednesday, Sept. 28
3:57 p.m. — A Simpson Road resident called police and reported her ex-husband was refusing to leave her property. The responding officer said the man was waiting to pick up his kids, but their son was still at school. The woman did not want the man waiting on her property, so he agreed to come back later.
11:15 a.m. — A man called police and reported three lug nuts had been removed from his vehicle's tire while it was parked at the . A report was filed.
Tuesday, Sept. 27
9:37 p.m. — A Hickory Road man called police and reported he was having an argument with his son about school. Police filed a report.
9:20 a.m. — Police responded to the scene of a car accident on Pleasantville Road at Hickory Road. The two drivers, both from Ossining, said they collided as one vehicle turned in front of the other. No injuries were reported.
Monday, Sept. 26
6:31 p.m. — A caddy called police to report a dispute he had with another caddy. He stated his pants had also gone missing from the caddy changing area. A report was filed.
12:40 p.m. — Police were notified that a car was hit by a golf ball on Pine Road. The responding officer said the ball caused damage to the car's windshield.
