Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Vehicle Scratched; Missing Youth

The following information was supplied by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department. When arrests are noted, they do not indicate a conviction.

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the  from Sept. 12 — Sept. 18, 2011:

Sunday, Sept. 18

12:56 p.m. — A Holbrook Lane resident called 911 to report a youth had been bitten by the family dog. The youth was transported to the hospital for treatment.

8:24 a.m. — A woman reported she was unable to get in touch with her daughter for a few days and thought she may be at her boyfriend's house in Sleepy Hollow. Sleepy Hollow Police said the boyfriend's vehicle was not parked outside his residence. Briarcliff Manor police said no further information regarding the youth in the case is available at this time.

Saturday, Sept. 17

2:15 p.m. — A one-car accident was injury was reported in the vicinity of 436 Pleasantville Rd. The car was towed from the scene and a report was filed.

Thursday, Sept. 15

8:19 p.m. — A man reported a dispute during 's Back to School night. He stated he is in the process of getting a divorce with his wife and she had attempted to start a verbal argument at the school. He said he wanted to call police before it escalated. A report was filed by police.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

6:14 p.m. — A woman came into headquarters to report her vehicle had been scratched on the driver's side door while it was parked for approximately three hours on Horsechestnut Road. A report was filed.

2:17 a.m. — A patrol officer noticed a sign outside the Scarborough Glen apartment complex that read "Mike Blau—they die, you lie." He reported it for the record, but police said there was no lawful reason to remove the sign.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

8:51 a.m. — Police arrested a 47-year-old Ossining man after a traffic stop when NYSPIN revealed his license was suspended. He is due in court on Wednesday.
