Briarcliff Manor's Skating Rink is Open

Seasonal passes are available for village residents, school district residents and guests.

The Law Park ice skating rink was opened Jan. 8 for the season.

(This is the new rink, on Tennis Court #4, not the Law Park Pond, which was rarely open for skating in recent years.)

Seasonal skating tags are priced at $5 for village residents and $10 for school district residents and guests. Purchasers are issued a small, plastic dog-tag style permit that village recreation department officials ask everyone to wear when skating.

The schedule tries to accomodate ice hockey players as well as general players. As weather conditions—especially temperatures—change, you should always check to confirm that skating is allowed.

The rink is not staffed, though village rec department staffers do monitor it; residents are expected to care for the safety of themselves, their families and others.
