Briarcliff's Frank McLaughlin's Hole in One at Bonnie Briar CC

This is his second hole in one.

Longtime Briarcliff, NY (Westchester County) resident Frank McLaughlin (third from left), pictured with (left to right) John Puglisi, Carl Guecia, and Pete Gosule, is all smiles after his hole in one at Bonnie Briar CC in Mamaroneck last Friday (September 23). It was the avid golfer’s second career ace, his first was at Rockport CC in Texas on July 2, 2000. Since then, he says he has had about 4,500 chances. McLaughlin is associate vice president of student affairs for athletic alumni relations and external affairs/athletic director emeritus at Fordham University, has been a member at Sleepy Hollow CC since 1986. The hole in one was deftly-executed on the 202-yard 10th hole. He has been practicing yoga for five years, and has lived in Briarcliff since 1985. The rest of the trio was classmates at Dix Hill High School. Frank's son-in-law and Chappaqua resident Chris Simko says it's: "just another great example of what can happen when you combine the discipline of yoga with the precision of club fitting."
