Join us Saturday, May 9th at 11am for our Cold Reads & Coffee Queer Play Reading Circle! We'll be reading Wolf Play by Hansol Jung.
About the play:
When an online adoption process goes sideways, the young boy caught in the middle launches himself into a lone wolf’s journey to find a pack he can call his own.
Wolf Play is a messy, funny, disturbing theatrical experience grappling with a wolf, a puppet and the very prickly problem of “What is a family, and what do we need from families today? Is it very different from what humans have needed from families before?”
Feel free to read a role or simply listen. Scripts and snacks will be provided. Allies are welcome and encouraged to join!
This event is free of charge and for Ages 18+. Wolf Play contains mature language and content. Contact info@arcstages.org if you have any questions.
Next up: We’ll be reading Fat Ham by James Ijames on Saturday, June 13th at 11am. We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note: Roles will not be precast. This is a casual gathering and we will distribute reading assignments, scene by scene, in the moment.
