Endenwald School Teen Suspect in Cortlandt Burglary

A 15-year-old student from Pleasantville's Endenwald School was arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly fleeing the scene of a burglary, New York State Police reported.
The male juvenile was arrested along with a suspected accomplice, 18-year-old Rajeam Jackson—a homeless man from the Poughkeepsie/Ossining area—after NYSP in Cortlandt were notified of the burglary.
The call was received at approximately 6:35 a.m. yesterday from the Springvale Apartments, located off St-9A in the Town of Cortlandt. Responding police reported of the three suspicious subjects in the area, the two teenagers had fled the scene on foot.

After an investigation, police determined the two had entered an apartment and stole cash before fleeing when they encountered a screaming resident in another apartment.
They are each charged with Burglary in the Second Degree and Attempted Burglary in the Second Degree.

Jackson will be arraigned in Town of Cortlandt Court, while the juvenile will head to Westchester County Family Court.
