Host Pleasantville enjoyed a great day, defeating crosstown rival Briarcliff Manor 12-3 on April 28 in the first edition of the "Saw Mill Slugfest."

Pleasantville sophomore attackman Brendan Halloran registered a game-high four goals and three assists to earn MVP honors.

Freshman Brian Allmendinger (East Islip, NY/East Islip) was selected to participate in the Division II NCAA East Region Tournament as an individual. The East Region will be hosted by Millersville University and will be held at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA from May 7-9. Allmendinger led the Setters this season as he posted an averaged round of 77.9 in 11 tournaments in his first collegiate season.

The top five teams and top two student athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the final on May 15-19 at the Cardinal Club in Simpsonville, KY as part of the Division II Spring Championship Festival. The festival will be hosted by Bellarmine University and the Louisville Sports Commission.

Northeast-10 Conference Announces Softball All-Conference Teams

Senior Lauren Bell (New Windsor, NY/Newburgh Free) was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Third Team, while a trio of freshman were selected to the NE-10 All-Rookie team.

Freshman Natalie Gellos (Seattle, WA/Holy Names Academy), Hana Wright (Hillsboro, OR/Valley Catholic) and Jeane Drury (Flanders, NJ/Morris Catholic) all posted outstanding seasons in their first collegiate careers.
