Happy Ending in Briarcliff Missing Persons Case
Man returned home after one day of no contact.

A Briarcliff Manor man has returned home to his family after he was reported missing Sunday evening, Detective Matthew Doherty said.
Police initially received a call on Sunday at 9:17 p.m. from a Birch Road resident who said her son was missing.
She told police he had left home on Saturday to visit friends in Manhattan and had not been heard from or seen since.

The 27-year-old man was last seen boarding a train with a female, police reported yesterday.
Calls to his cell phone went straight to his voicemail, police said.

"He returned last night," Doherty said today. "There was nothing suspicious, he just hooked up with some friends."
