With a mix of incumbents and challengers, the Association’s support is based upon the fundamental belief that the residential construction and remodeling industries play an essential role in any sustained economic recovery in New York State – a recovery, which heretofore has not been fully enjoyed by all residents of the Hudson Valley.
According to HVBRA Executive Officer Scott Wohl: “The ever increasing property tax burden coupled with an unfriendly and oftentimes adversarial regulatory environment have served to stall any regional housing recovery and to severely limit employment opportunities and housing affordability as well.”
About the Hudson Valley Builders and Remodelers Association:
As the regional affiliate for the New York State Builders Association (NYSBA), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and a National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) partner – the Hudson Valley Builders & Remodelers Association represents the interests and needs of the residential, remodeling, and light commercial building industries in Westchester and the Hudson Valley.
For consumers, the Association provides access to builders, remodelers, suppliers and services to help them through the construction project.
