This is Just a Drill: SWAT Team Training Oct. 30 in Pleasantville
Westchester County Police will be simulating a standoff on Washington Avenue.
The Westchester County Police Department will be conducting SWAT training at 101-107 Washington Ave. from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
Pleasantville village officials sent out an email notice to residents this morning.
The training will take place at the corner of Edgewood and Washington, simulating a police standoff with a barricaded suspect.

The training and safety protocols will be supervised by the Westchester County Zone 3 training academy staff. All SWAT vehicles will be kept behind 107 Washington Ave. (former funeral home parking lot). Training will be limited to the areas inside the construction fences at the location.
