Local Athletes Finish Strong at Sleepy Hollow Triathlon
Briarcliff Manor and Pleasantville residents gave a strong showing yesterday.
Approximately 250 participants and 175 volunteers gathered on the banks of the Hudson River early Sunday morning for the 3rd Annual Sleepy Hollow Sprint Triathlon.
The event incorporated a half-mile swim, a 10-mile bike ride and a 3-mile run all around Sleepy Hollow and Kingsland Point Park.
Organized as a charity event by Sleepy Hollow Physical Therapy, the Sprint Tri raised more than $75,000 to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
