Mount Pleasant PD Adds Five Sex Offenders to Database

The Mount Pleasant Police Department has added five sex offenders to its database, all either incarcerated in the county jail or residing in the Grasslands Homeless Shelter in Valhalla. of this year, police can provide specific addresses for sex offenders classified as level 2 and level 3.

Anthony Carabello, 34, was convicted of Rape in the Second Degree on Feb. 28, 2002, after he was accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl in Tompkins County.

The Level 2 sex offender now lives in the Grasslands Homeless Shelter in Valhalla.

Stanley Dixon, 74, is classified as a "sexually violent offender and predicate sex offender" by New York State after he was convicted in April of 2003 of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a Class D felony.

The victims in the Mount Vernon case were 11 and 12-year-old girls.

Dixon has also been known to use the alias Robert Dixon.

Andre Jones, 46, was convicted of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree on Sept. 9, 2002 in Yonkers. Jones was charged with sexual abusing a 9-year-old girl on more than one occasion.

Jones, a Level 3 "sexually violent offender," currently resides in the Grasslands Homeless Shelter in Valhalla.

John Lamoli, 45, currently resides in the Grasslands Homeless Shelter in Valhalla.

He was convicted of Attempted Sodomy, a Class C felony, in Yonkers on July 16, 2004.

Lamoli, who has also used the alias John Ishmael, is classified as a Level 2 "sexually violent offender."

Josef Reutershan, who has also used the first name Jose, is currently incarcerated in Valhalla, according to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.

The 46-year-old man was convicted of one Class E and two Class D felonies on Aug. 11, 2009 in Westchester County.

He was accused of possessing child pornography, promoting child pornography and Disseminating Indecent Material To Minors in the First Degree.

Reutershan is designated as a Level 3 sex offender.
