Mount Pleasant Public Library Locations Closing for New Carpet

The Mount Pleasant Public Library will be installing new carpeting at both the Main Library and the Branch Library in mid-April.

Library Director John Fearon said the project will begin April 6 at the Main Library, which will be closed all week. Hours will be extended at the Branch Library.

If the project goes according to schedule, the Main Library will re-open April 13, he said. On April 14, work will begin at the Branch Library, which will be closed during the two to three days the carpeting is estimated to take.

However, he warned on the library website, “Please be aware that these timelines are subject to change. The Library will be posting daily updates on its homepage during this project.”
