Native American: Honoring the Ancestors
with Evan Pritchard, Professor of Native American Studies

Workshop 1; 1-3pm
Participate in traditional Native rituals and ceremony including
Medicine Wheel and Drumming. Learn about the unique role the
great Native American teachers played before they passed on to the
spirit world. Evan tells of funny and miraculous stories about these elders

Workshop 2; 3:30 – 5:30pm
Advancing into Tobacco offering ceremony to Elders and to Mother
Earth through her four elements, thanking and blessing them and
praying for their wellbeing, while singing songs, traditional and created
Please bring a drum and some tobacco.
