Ossining Man, 22, Stabbed in the Heart

The victim is at Westchester Medical Center; village police seek clues to the attack.

Ossining village police seek information on a stabbing that nearly killed a 17-year-old Claremont Gardens resident December 22.

Police responding to a 9-1-1 call found the victim collapsed outside his front door and discovered the stab wound. The youth was taken to Westchester Medical Center by the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps and rushed into surgery. The weapon had nicked his heart and punctured a lung, police said.

The victim told police the attack took place on North Highland Avenue near North Malcolm Street at 3:30 p.m. He told police he did not know his assailant.
