Pleasantville, Briarcliff Election Results 2016: the Winners Are Revealed
Here is how Westchester voted in the 2016 election, according to unofficial totals Wednesday.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — Here are the final, unofficial totals in the Nov. 8 election.
In Westchester County, almost two-thirds of voters cast their ballots for the Clinton/Kaine Democratic ticket, according to unofficial results. They received 245,670 votes—or 65 percent of the total. President-elect Trump and his running mate Mike Pence garnered 121,643 votes—or 32 percent. The Libertarian ticket of Gary Johnson and William Weld only received 7,185 votes—2 percent. The Green Party’s Jill Stein got 4,008, or 1 percent. Write-in votes were not reported.

District 18 includes all of Orange and Putnam counties; southwestern Dutchess including East Fishkill, Fishkill, Wappinger, Poughkeepsie town and city, and Beacon; and in Westchester, Somers, Pound Ridge, Bedford, North Salem, Lewisboro and part of North Salem.

Andrea Stewart-Cousins, D-WF-IND-WEP was unopposed.
State Senate District 36
District includes Mount Vernon and part of the Bronx. District 38 was held for a long time by a Westchester resident, Ruth Hassell-Thompson, who has retired. Both candidates are Bronx residents.

NY Assembly District 91 includes Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Rye, Port Chester and portions of New Rochelle. Incumbent Steve Otis, D-WF-IND-WEP, was unopposed for reelection.
NY Assembly District 92 is comprised of parts of Westchester County, including Tarrytown, Irvington, Hastings-on-Hudson, Pleasantville and portions of Scarsdale. Thomas Abinanti, D-WF-IND, was unopposed.
NY Assembly District 93 is comprised of parts of northern and southern Westchester County, including Bedford, Mount Kisco, New Castle, Pound Ridge and Armonk and portions of Purchase and Harrison. David Buchwald, D-WF-IND-WEP,was unopposed for reelection.
NY Assembly District 94 includes part of northern Westchester, including Yorktown and Somers, and part of Putnam, including Carmel, Patterson, Putnam Valley and Southeast. With Steve Katz not seeking re-election, there were several people interested in running for the seat.

For Westchester County District Attorney
Democrat Anthony Scarpino and Republican Bruce Bendish fought to replace interim Westchester County District Attorney James McCarty. He has been holding the job vacated by Janet DiFiore when she was appointed to the New York Court of Appeals by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
