Pleasantville Court: Peeping Tom Suspect Appears; Warrant in Harassment Case

Peeping Tom Suspect Appears with Attorney

The Mount Kisco man was arrested on December 19 and subsequently charged with Stalking in the Fourth Degree, Harassment in the Second Degree and Trespassing.

On Tuesday, Corbett's attorney entered a plea of not guilty on the defendant's behalf and confirmed a temporary order of protection had previously been issued in the case.

He then requested an all-purpose adjournment until Feb. 7, 2012.

Warrant in Harassment Case

Patricia Farrelly, 45, was arrested on December 22 and charged with Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor.

On Tuesday, her attorney stated she had been admitted to Phelps Memorial Hospital the day prior and would not be released for at least 48 hours.

He requested a two week adjournment.

Assistant District Attorney Nicholas DiCostanza said he would not consent to an adjournment and requested a bench warrant be issued in the case as Farrelly is alleged to have violated her conditional discharge.

She was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge to a disorderly conduct charge.

Harassment Defendant Faces New Charge

Alexander Artuso, 20, appeared in court yesterday after being charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree on December 20.

Artuso, of Pleasantville, Harassment in the Second Degree in March of this year and is now accused of violating orders of protection in the case.

His attorney indicated Tuesday that there may be video surveillance related to the case being sought out by the prosecution.

The case was adjourned until Jan. 24, 2012 at the defendant's request.

Bail Application Denied by Judge

Heather Bull, 24, is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument as a result of a .

On Tuesday, DiCostanza Bull's bail be set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond as a result of a non-compliant report from Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC), which Bull was referred to as part of her release.

Bull's attorney asked that she remain released on her own recognizance, pointing out her parents, who she lives with in Pleasantville, were present in court.

Village Justice John Curley denied the application for bail.

The case was then adjourned until Jan. 10, 2012 at the defendant's request.

Alcohol Charge Reduced to Violation

Michael Kar, a 20-year-old Pleasantville resident accused of buying alcohol for a minor, pled guilty to a reduced charge Tuesday.

He was initially charged with Unlawful Dealing with a Child, a misdemeanor, following a October 14 arrest.

Yesterday, Assistant District Attorney Michael DiCostanza reduced the charge to Disorderly Conduct, a violation.

Following his guilty plea, Kar was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge and a mandatory surcharge. He must also comply with treatment at the Lexington Center for Recovery.

Attorney Assigned to Assault Defendant

Anthony Lawrence Milioto, 21, is charged with Assault in the Third Degree following a December 19 arrest.

Milioto, of Ossining, was assigned an attorney on Tuesday who entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf.

A temporary order of protection for the alleged victim in the case was previously issued by Acting Village Justice Virginia Collins.

All parties consented to an adjournment of Jan. 24, 2012.
