Pleasantville Farmers Market Celebrates 25 Years Of Saturdays

The market runs year-round.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — The Pleasantville Farmers Market celebrated 25 years in operation Saturday with festivities and a special proclamation.

The market draws shoppers from all over central Westchester as well as the village where it's located in a parking lot filled with commuter cars on weekdays.

The festivities included the ever-popular corn roast, kids' activities and live music.

The village also presented Mead Orchards, which has been at the market for a quarter-century, with a proclamation declaring Sept. 3 Mead Orchards Day.
