Pleasantville Holiday Sanitation Schedule

The Village of Pleasantville is offering a revised sanitation and recycling pickup schedule for these holiday weeks:

As yesterday (Dec. 26) and next Monday, Jan. 2 are holidays ( will be closed), garbage pickup will be pushed back one day this week and next. Therefore:

• If your trash is normally picked up on Monday, it will be picked up today and next Tuesday.
• If your trash is normally picked up on Tuesday, it will be picked up on Wednesdays.
• If your trash is normally picked up on Wednesday, it will be picked up on Thursdays.

The village will have a special paper and cardboard pickup day on Thursday, Dec. 29 to compensate for no cardboard pickup next week.

Plastics, cans and bottles will be picked up the same day as usual.

The will pick up again on Monday, January 9.
