Pleasantville Man Arrested on Sexual Assault Warrant

Greenwich Police say a man they arrested on a criminal mischief charge was wanted by Worcester, MA, police for a sex assault.

According to Greenwich Police, Sean D. Connolly, 40, of Madison Avenue in Pleasantville, was picked up by police following a November 10 incident at the Riverside Common shopping center in which a windshield wiper arm was ripped from a vehicle.

"While investigating...the Greenwich Police Department learned that the suspect, Sean D. Connolly...had an extradictable warrant for sex assault out of Worcester, MA," according to the report.

Details on the Worcester case were not immediately available.

Connolly was given a misdemeanor summons charging him with 4th-degree criminal mischief in connection with the wiper blade incident.

Connolly was held in lieu of $100,000 bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 18 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
