Pleasantville Police Arrest Man for Counterfeiting

A Mount Kisco man has been arrested and charged with counterfeiting U.S. currency, Pleasantville Detective Herb Peterson said today.
Steven Gallo, 53, was arrested Monday at 6:30 p.m., according to records.
Peterson said Gallo has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the First Degree, a Class C Felony.

He is additionally charged with Criminal Possession of Forgery Devices, a Class D Felony.
Peterson said, "He is alleged to have committed these acts at 444 Bedford Rd."

Gallo was processed and released on $1,000 bail on Monday and is due back in court on March 24.
