Pleasantville Police Blotter: Burglary, Larceny Arrests
The following information was supplied by the Pleasantville Police Department. When arrests are noted, they do not indicate a conviction.

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the from August 22 — 28, 2011.
Saturday, Aug. 27
11:41 a.m. — A man called police to report his vehicle had been damaged while parked in a Marble Avenue lot. The responding officer confirmed it appeared the car had been keyed and the tires were flat. The caller was unable to provide a time frame for when the incident occurred. A report was filed.

Thursday, Aug. 25
4:35 p.m. — A Weskora Avenue resident came into headquarters to report someone had slashed the driver's side tires on his vehicle overnight while it was parked in his driveway. The man noted there was another car in his driveway, parked closer to the street, that was not affected. He added his tires had also been slashed in the past, but he had not reported the incident. A report was filed.

Wednesday, Aug. 24
5:11 p.m. — A Valhalla man called 911 to report his son, a Bedford Road resident, told him someone was breaking into the first floor of his residence. Reporting officers said the front door of the building was open and the affected resident stated his laptop was missing from the scene. The detective arrived at the scene shortly after and at 6:25 p.m., two suspects were arrested and transported to headquarters. A 25-year-old Bedford woman and 18-year-old Stormville man were processed and charged with burglary.
Monday, Aug. 22
11:10 a.m. — The detective arrested a 58-year-old Bronx man on an outstanding warrant after he was transported to headquarters from Rikers Island. The man was arraigned at 1 p.m. by Village Justice John Curley on a Grand Larceny charge.
10:53 a.m. — A Foxwood resident called police to report damage to one of the buildings on Foxwood Drive. He stated the affected unit's resident claimed lightening struck the building, but the caller believed the damage was caused by bullets. The responding police officer said the damage may have been caused by pellet gun bullets. A report was filed.
