Pleasantville Police Blotter: Teen Arrested for Driving on Park Grass; Man Turns Self in on Assault Charge

Sunday, Dec. 11
10:50 a.m. — A police officer reported water leaking from the garage, doors and wall of the Water Department building on Lake Street. Water Department personnel were contacted and corrected the leak.

4:14 a.m. — A Washington Avenue resident called police to report two people arguing in the neighborhood. Police canvassed the area, but did not find anyone.
Saturday, Dec. 10

4:49 p.m. — An employee of called police to report a customer said there was a group of youths acting unruly in the breezeway. Police responded to the scene and reported no unruly behavior. The group was dispersed without incident.
Friday, Dec. 9
9:46 a.m. — A police officer reported a two-car accident on Bedford Road. No injuries were reported.
Wednesday, Dec. 7
4:05 p.m. — A 21-year-old Briarcliff Manor man turned himself into police headquarters. He was arrested and formally charged with Assault in the Third Degree and Forcible Touching, as a result of two separate incidents at . He has since retained an attorney and .
Tuesday, Dec. 6
5:22 p.m. — A patrol officer reported to headquarters that he observed a White Expedition driving and making donuts inside . Police had received two phone calls from residents earlier in the day describing the same activity by a similar vehicle. The officer arrested the car's driver, an 18-year-old Chappaqua man, who also had two passengers in the vehicle. The car was towed from the scene to be used as evidence in the case. The suspect has been charged with felony criminal mischief and driving on a sidewalk. He .
8:31 a.m. — An employee of a Holbrook, NY-based construction company called police to report an equipment box had been run over at a work site on Weskora Avenue near Spring Street by a vehicle. A report of the damaged property was filed.
Monday, Dec. 5
11:45 p.m. — A Booth Street resident called police and reported it appeared someone had attempted to break into his home through the front door. Police responded to the scene and filed a report.
