Rockefeller Preserve Hosts "Horses and Hounds" at Art Gallery

The exhibition, curated by Audrey Leeds, will be on view from October 1st through November 5th.

From NY Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation: Gallop a fine horse, walk an eager dog on the carriage roads. These images are depicted as artistic renderings in an exhibition entitled “Horses and Hounds” in the Art Gallery at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve. The exhibition, curated by Audrey Leeds, will be on view from October 1st through November 5th. Gallery hours are 9:00AM – 4:30PM daily.

Artists James Dyekman, Bruce Withers, Cristina Biaggi, Dale Bradley, Roseanne Cerbo, Michael Garber, and others will receive Preserve visitors at a reception on October 8th, 1-3 PM.

EQUIDANCE – LEAP by James Dyekman

Concurrently with the exhibition opening on October 1st, the second annual equestrian event

“Amble and Gamble,” hosted by the Friends of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, will be held at the Rockwood Hall section of the Preserve overlooking the Hudson River. The festivities begin at 9:30 AM and conclude with a benefit buffet at noon.

The Art Gallery at Rockefeller State Park Preserve is located at 125 Phelps Way (Route 117), Pleasantville, NY, 10570, next to the park office. The Preserve is one of 15 state parks, six historic sites and two golf courses administered by New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation – Taconic Region.
