Updated: Saw Mill Reopened After Truck Struck Overpass in Pleasantville
Traffic is being diverted off the parkway at Bedford Road.
Update—Thursday, 12:20 a.m.: The scene of the accident appears to be cleared; Saw Mill River Parkway completely reopened.

A tractor trailer striking the bottom of the Bedford Road overpass caused northbound Saw Mill River Parkway traffic to be diverted into Pleasantville at Bedford Road, county police said this evening.

Westchester County Police have blocked off traffic on the Saw Mill River Parkway in the northbound direction at Bedford Road. One lane of traffic was recently reopened following the accident at approximately 8:30 p.m., police said.
All of Grant Street off of Manville Road is also currently closed to traffic.

Emergency workers can be seen clearing debris out of the road below the Bedford Road overpass.
Police said it will likely be a while longer before the roadway is completely cleared and reopened to traffic.
