Sixteen Briarcliff Seniors Secure NCAA College Spots

Sixteen of 's Class of 2011 have earned spots on competitive athletic teams at their future colleges, Athletic Director Chris Drosopoulos and School Counselor and Coach Nathan Heltzel announced last week.

Below is a list of student-athletes who have accepted positions on NCAA Division I, II or III colleges' teams:

2. Luke Beyer—SUNY Brockport, lacrosse
3. Nico Chavez—Curry College, soccer
4. Daniele Christiano—Siena College, soccer
5. Liana Cornacchio—Princeton University, soccer
6. Michael DiRosa—Bard College, cross country
7. John Haeling—Wittenberg University, lacrosse
8. Kasey Heyda—Mount Saint Mary College, basketball
9. Maddy Kittay—Stonehill College, soccer
10. Garret Lederman—University of Maryland, football
11. Joseph Lividini—SUNY Brockport, lacrosse
12. Josh Miller—York College of Pennsylvania, baseball
13. Briana Reid—Franklin and Marshal College, basketball
14. Savina Reid—Carnegie Mellon University, soccer
15. Vicky Trentini—Hamilton College, field hockey
16. Chris Varcasio—Endicott College, lacrosse
