Slow Yoga and Qigong: Relax and Restore with Ken Nelson and Lesli Lang
Explore Qigong, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra to Nourish Your Life Force, Restore Vitality, and Maintain Wellness
Relaxation happens naturally when we slow down, stop creating tension, and nurture our intuitive wisdom. Join Berkshires-based Ken Nelson and Lesli Lang for an exploration of qigong—easy-to-learn Chinese energy exercises that foster moving with ease, grace, and freedom; the passive postures of yin yoga, which relieve chronic tension and enhance flexibility; and the bliss of deep relaxation in yoga nidra. Participants will discover how these practices can nourish life force and restore vitality and will learn holistic ways to heal, grow, and maintain wellness by living in the moment with a wise and loving heart. Dress comfortably for ease of movement.
Ken Nelson and Lesli Lang offer workshops in mind-body wellness and the wisdom traditions. Ken is a former Fulbright lecturer and Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health Scholar-in-Residence and has offered workshops worldwide since 1975. His CD, Yin Yoga, and DVD, Qigong & Taiji for Healing & Vitality, are Kripalu bestsellers. Lesli has a background in theater and performing arts and two decades of experience assisting Fortune 500 executives to communicate their message more effectively. Drawing on a lifetime of yoga, self-inquiry, and meditation, she enjoys supporting people in their quest for authenticity, freedom, and full expression.
