Pleasantville High School teams to look out for throughout the 2011 spring sports season.

The spring sports season has just begun, and many varsity teams are showing promise. Here's a quick idea of what Panther fans have to look forward to:
Baseball
Pleasantville High School baseball is coming off a successful 2009-2010 campaign of 11 wins and four losses. Another great year can be expected for the Panthers as they once again make a push for the league title and beyond.

Boys Lacrosse
Pleasantville Panthers boys lacrosse is already off to a great 2-0 start from last season’s 16-2 overall record. 10 juniors, eight seniors and three sophomores make up the fairly experienced squad as they look to continue their strong defensive presence against rival Briarcliff High School, as well as others such as Fox Lane.

Girls Lacrosse
Nine seniors have the necessary experience now to help the Panthers improve upon last year’s 7-7-1 record and rise above the .500 mark in the regular season, along with a sectional title and state playoff chase.
