Winners Announced for Volunteer New York! 36th Annual Spirit Awards
Local Greenburgh resident and 8 other individuals to be awarded.
Greenburgh resident, Eric Nodiff, wins Social Advocacy Award from Volunteer New York’s 2016 Volunteer Spirit Awards for his work through the Giving Circle of Lower Westchester. Eric and 8 other individuals and groups will be given recognition for having gone above and beyond in donating their time and talent to volunteer activities that strengthen our region.
This award honors volunteers who advocate for and support the righting of injustice in our community in areas such as, but not limited to, human rights, minority rights, domestic violence, housing, and job preparedness.
“These awards bring our volunteer, non-profit and for-profit partners closer together, while highlighting how important volunteer services is to keeping Westchester and our surrounding areas strong, resilient and thriving,” said Alisa H. Kesten, Volunteer New York! Executive Director.
