Worker Hospitalized After Touching Live Wire in Briarcliff Manor
The man is being treated at Phelps Memorial Hospital.
A man was taken to the hospital this afternoon after making contact with a live downed wire at a Briarcliff Manor residence.
At the scene of 139 Scarborough Rd., Chief Norman Campion said workers hired privately by the homeowner were working to clear downed trees and wires.
One man touched a live wire with his arm and suffered an injury, though Chief Campion stressed the injury "is nothing life-threatening."

"He burned his arm and is being treated at Phelps," said Chief Campion.
Briarcliff Manor , police and ambulance units responded to the scene, along with an amubulance from Ossinng.
